The Art and Art History Department is very proud to present the 2022 Art Practice Capstone Exhibition. This website functions as an exhibition and documentation of the artworks and achievements of our four graduating seniors. Interdisciplinary and conceptually complex, the bodies of work exhibited explore disparate personal narratives that address various aspects of our collective human experience: family, cultural identity, loss of innocence, gender, imagination in isolation, and consciousness. Realized through installation art, mixed media, experimental video, photography, painting, animation, and digital art, the artists have employed a breadth of art-making strategies to engage the viewer in the intimacies of personal narrative in relation to universal experiences of the human condition.
